BARCELONA - TUSCANY - UMBRIA - ROME 2014

So I know it's been a while but life has just been mundane. Work and the daily grind. Like the hamster running on the wheel. But 2014 brought me back to the best place on earth...Italy. But first stop Barcelona...Sangria, beaches, Gaudi, Sagrada Famiglia, great tour guides, cute policemen, Park Guell, etc...

 

The Red Devil Lounge - San Francisco - November 2011

On Thursday we headed into the city to go "clubbing" (admittedly, not something I do that often anymore). We went to see Daniel's band 'duckyousucker' play a gig at the Red Devil Lounge in San Francisco. I must say these kids have talent. Michael, Stephen and I really enjoyed the show including the two bands that followed. At least I know the thousands of dollars I spent on music lessons, band fees, band camp and other music related activities has been a wise investment.

Stevie turns 21!!! 10/11/11

Stephen (who doesn't even like the taste of alcohol) turned 21 on October 11th. We took him to Samuel Hornes Tavern in old Folsom.  Unfortunately it was a Tuesday night during midterms week. He ordered a beer, took a few sips and gave the rest to Michael!
